As you make your way up the ice cliffs, the snow fall decreases, becoming less cold, less violent. By the time you reach halfway up, you sigh in relief as the blizzard completely stops, enabeling you to finally see your surroundings. The entire area was completely covered in ice and snow, now sparkling from the little sunlight that has poked its way through the gray clouds. Hopefully, the clouds will diminish and let the sun out fully, warming the area a little, including yourself. You hope that would be the case; you hated the cold.

Wiping some snow off your coat, you continue on, your mood lifted quite a bit now that snow isn't piling on your face and body. Well, that is, until a mass of snow suddenly covers you completely, probably a small form of avalanche. Twitching a little, you brush the snow off your head and shoulders, and were about to move on again, until you hear a giggle. Blinking, you look around, but strangely enough, you don't find anyone. Not even a little random rodent squeaking by. Nothing. After about five minutes of just complete silence, you give up and move up the trail, feeling a tad disturbed.

Time passes without much encounters. Everything was peaceful. By now, the clouds have thinned a large amount, and the sun melted the top most layer of snow, creating a good portion of what you walk on to be sloshy and wet. You reach the top of the cliff, and completely stop at what you see infront of you.

A lean, black, panther-like feline is sprawled across your way, looking quite content to soak up some sun rays. Silky, cyan blue mane covers up most of his neck and shoots out as bangs over his eyes, and various pink markings that look like wings cover his body, accompanied by white blue dots. He purrs a little, and opens one orange eye, then both, looking rather amused.

"Heh...." You're kind of in shock when the feline begins to speak, which causes a smirk to grow on his face. "So predictable...so easy to scare, shock, and utterly confuse. So....unintelligent...so dull." His smirk turns into that of a cruel one. Fuming inside, after all, this feline DID insult you, you demand to know what he is.

Miffed, the feline raises an eyebrow. "Don't you mean 'who'?" He frowns. "I'm Kijutsuu, a magic." He smirks once more, as though that last word he said were to completely strike you with terror.

...But it didn't. You blink, clueless as to what that is supposed to mean. Kijutsuu himself sorta stares at you, then shakes his head and sighs. "You travelers really ARE stupid. Magics are the most powerful raveen kat type in the inner dimension. Long ago, we used to rampage and construct utter chaos to those who opposed us, until we practically wiped most of the population out and ruled the entire dimension.....but then Orcle decided we were too powerful, and sort of well...vanished us. Now, there aren't so many as we used to thrive, and certainly not as powerful, but still....it's close enough." He finishes with a glare directed at you. "NOW do you understand?"

You nod and take a step back, now beginning to feel a little bit of fear running up your spine. Kiju, seeing your reaction, smirks, obviously enjoying it. "Good."

You nod again, and start stepping back some more, until you hear a purr. Puzzled, you look around one more time, and blink when a black cub appears out of nowhere and rubs against Kiju. You wince. Now the cub is certainly going to die; Kiju doesn't seem like a very nice kat. Instead, to your amazement, he purrs back and rubs his forehead against her fondly, the cub squeaking in joy. Taking a closer look, you notice that she is much like the older kat, black with cyan blue and pink markings. The only difference is that Kiju has a mane, while this cub has feathers crested on her tail and her front legs. She makes a cute kitten noise and looks over at you...then promptly giggles. You blink. That giggle sounded familiar....of course! From when you were pelted with snow! After a bit, the cub stops giggling and smiles at you.

"You're funny!" She smiles more. Kiju purrs and nuzzles her forehead, before turning to you. "This is Nalani; she is my daughter."

You choke. His daughter?! Then how did she get those feathers?! Nalani giggles and pokes at you with a tiny paw.

"I gots them from mumie." She smiles once more.

You go through another state of shock. Did that cub just read your mind? Kiju smirks and explains. "She has telepathic powers; she can read others minds if it's not blocked from her. You obviously don't have yours blocked, so she can hear your thoughts. She also gets that from her mother, for I have no telepathy in me." He pauses a little, then continues on. "She is a dream, by the way. Making Nalani a mix of magic and dream."

"Daaaddy....let's go see mumie and Silvie!" Kiju blinks and tilts his head. "You sure you want to go...?" Nalani nods her head violently, giggling as she does.

And for the first time, you see Kiju smile. "Ok..." He turns to look at you. "Perhaps you won't be so stupid to the others, now that you've talked to me." And with that, Kijutsuu and Nalani both dissappear in a flash of light, leaving you alone, and frankly, rather confused.
